Our kitchen is always busy, and the savouries we produce are very popular with our customers. You can choose from a range of homemade pies - steak & kidney, pork & apple, lamb & leek - to name just a few, or from family favourites such as lasagne, quiches, or cottage pie, and I musn't forget our legendry sausage rolls, made with free range sausagemeat from Goetre Farm.
All items are made using the best ingredients, and are ready to reheat and serve. There is usually a good selection available fresh each day, but the whole range is available from the freezer.
We also make vegetarian savouries - ranging from leek & cheese pie, through to vegetarian lasagne and Glamorgan sausages (made with caerphilly cheese, leeks and potatoes). Our leek and laverbread quiche is also very popular.
Welsh Curries are available frozen, made in Hirwaun, and with a welsh twist, such as lamb and leek curry, Welsh black beef curry or the hot 'tan y ddraig' curry( the Dragon's fire!) We stock rice, pasta, and other grains to complement our range, and help make your meal complete.
In Autumn and Winter we make game pies, using pheasant, venison and rabbit, just the thing for a cold winters night!
